Massage is a sacred and ancient medicine that is so subtle and yet so powerful, and a significant part of healing, including moving lymph, clearing toxins, uplifting the thoughts and mood.Studies say that massage is an effective treatment for reducing stress,pain and muscle tension.The Massage therapy technique involves rubbing,pressing and manipulating the skin,ligaments and muscles.

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage therapy is the modality that comes to mind when most people think about massage. As the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. But Swedish massage therapy goes beyond relaxation. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).

Trigger Point Therapy

Ayurvedic ancient texts recommend daily Abhyangam and it should be practiced by everyone. This type of daily oil massage can be a simple oil application and be done by one’s own self. Abhyangam when practised daily bestows one with long life span , energy, complexion and youthful skin.

Hot Stone Massage

During a hot stone massage, smooth, flat, heated stones are placed on specific parts of your body. The stones are usually made of basalt, a type of volcanic rock that retains heat.It’s used to help you relax and ease tense muscles and damaged soft tissues throughout your body.  

Aroma Therapy

Aromatherapy massage is done massage oil or lotion that contains essential oils (highly concentrated plant oils).During an aromatherapy massage, you inhale these essential oil molecules or absorb them through your skin. They are thought to promote beneficial changes in your mind and body by affecting the limbic system, a region of the brain known to influence the nervous system.

Foot Massage

Traditionally, foot massages are performed using the hands, although treatments may sometimes include the use of sticks or rollers to more effectively stimulate the reflex areas in the foot.
